Baking Pancakes for Villa Pardoes

On 13 June 2019 a delegation of 8 employees of Barenbrug Holland lended a helping hand by baking pancakes for 70 people at Villa Pardoes. Villa Pardoes offers an unforgettable holiday to families who live their daily lives with a child between 4 and 12 years who has a potentially life-threatening disease. Every year, 600 families spend a week in one of their holiday homes. Villa Pardoes has to collect an amount of 1.4 million euros yearly by fundraising. Theme park the Efteling is the largest fundraiser in kind, by giving all guests of Villa Pardoes free entrance to the theme park. A team of 185 volunteers is “working” at Villa Pardoes. After the hard work in the kitchen, we also had the pleasure to eat together with the guests. They were very grateful for the one-time holiday week and the pancakes tasted very well! 

After dinner, the guests went to their evening program. We went back to the kitchen where the dishes were waiting for us…..
