A new home for Eleanor
The Barenbrug USA volunteers assisted Habitat for Humanity with the final phase of constructing a home for Eleanor. Eleanor is a young single mom with 4 children who was in need of a house to provide her children with a place they can call 'home'. With the help of the charity and a team of volunteers Eleanor was able to spend a family Christmas in her own house for the first time since a long while.
A special moment for the volunteers and the family was the 'Home Dedication Ceremony' on December the 15th, 2018 where the volunteers handed over the keys of the house to Eleanor.
