Barenbrug USA donates food to Albany Helping Hands Homeless Shelter
Barenbrug USA was able to contribute nourishing foods to our local shelter to help with making sure that those who are less fortunate are provided a meal.
Barenbrug USA was able to contribute nourishing foods to our local shelter to help with making sure that those who are less fortunate are provided a meal.
The Helping with Hands Project involved transitioning from our cooked lunch program to Canteen Vending Services and with this transition, we had food left over that could be donated to our local Albany Helping Hands Homeless Shelter. Our team boxed up the remainder of food and delivered it to the shelter.
Albany Helping Hands is an eighteen year old independent non-profit organization supported primarily by contributions of individuals, businesses, churches, nonprofit organizations and funds from store and farm operations.
The Albany non-denominational ministry operates a Homeless Shelter, a three meal a day kitchen, the Helping Hands Thrift Store, Farm, Keep Warm Wood Lot, U-Haul Dealership and Pasture Raised Chicken Farm.
