Barenbrug Australia returns to work on the Food for Change farm for a second year
Our Victorian team recently returned to work for a second year on the Food for Change farm. The farm is located at ‘The Briars’ on the Mornington Peninsula.
About ‘Food for Change’
It is the Mission of Food for Change to alleviate food insecurity in Australia. Produce grown on the farm is distributed to charities. You can learn more about the charity on their website https://foodforchange.org.au/
The Project
We were very pleased to return for a second year to work on the Food for Change farm and support such a worthy cause. We sent two groups to work on the farm on separate days. The first group worked on the farm 3 September, with the second group working there on 22 October. The Barenbrug team helped by doing a variety of tasks on the farm such as building new garden beds, mulch distribution and net construction.
We thoroughly enjoyed helping out, as well as spending time together as a team.
