As part of our commitment to greener spaces and community involvement, Barenbrug Holland was proud to roll up our sleeves and support this inspiring schoolyard transformation.
Clara Fabriciusschool is a primary school located in the Netherlands for children from four to ten years old.
The schoolyard was completely paved. The school has transformed it into a greener environment with more trees, wood, grass, and plants. On 4 and 7 March 2025, a total of nine colleagues helped remove paving stones, which will be reused to create an outdoor classroom (grandstand bench). Many heavy wheelbarrows were transported across the schoolyard. The school was very grateful for our help, and the children planted the borders themselves as a learning process to foster respect for nature. We hope they will enjoy future outdoor lessons.
